Never fall for such scammers!

Henna lovers will usually get their henna fixed on festive seasons such as Hari Raya, Deepavali etc. And even for special occasions like Wedding, Engagement or maybe for their graduations. Obviously, they definitely want the henna to be beautifully drawn on themselves.
As a henna lover myself, I would usually get my henna fixed at Geylang Bazaar Ramadan (every year without fail) because I have never thought that I could actually search for henna artists via social networks like Instagram, Facebook or even Carousell (for Singaporeans only). So back in May 2017, I had my Eid Henna done at the same bazaar but not from the same vendor (yup, every year change). Apparently, I came across this particular booth that uses a loudhailer saying, "two hands for SGD15!"
Who wouldn't want to grab cheap deals right? Since everywhere else was nothing below SGD10 per hand, I approached the booth telling them I want my henna fixed for that great deal. The moment I sat on their chair, they told me that I cannot choose my preferred henna designs and it will be drawn freehand. Seeing the portfolios on their table were pretty fine hence I put the trust on the henna artist.
Unfortunately, IT WAS A DISASTROUS EXPERIENCE EVER! I was super disappointed with the design drawn on my hands. What was even worst, it was done just a day before Hari Raya. Definitely a lesson learnt for me, NEVER opt for cheap henna services especially when it comes to freehand drawings.

So, here I am, reminding each and every one of you to choose your henna artist wisely. Sadly, even up to this date, most vendors at such Bazaars are "scammers". Yes, they may know how to draw but at the same time, they hire artists who are lacking in their henna drawing skills to work for them for their own benefit (profit). Unless you want to choose your own design, you will have to pay higher than the standard rate which is SGD25 per hand for a ridiculous design. In other words. you basically unable to choose your preferred design for a good deal. All in all, NEVER fall for such scam!
Alright #whimsicalhennalovers, don't forget to check back on my next post for more tips related to henna. Till then!
